Welcome to my home on the web!

me

This website contains information on my scientific work as well as my private life.

After finishing my studies in software engineering at the University of Stuttgart, I am currently pursuing for my doctoral degree at the Department of Distributed Systems (University of Stuttgart). During my work within the NET project (Network Emulation Testbed), my main research topics cover mechanisms to increase the scalablity of network emulation and to minimize the runtime of network experiments. A list of my scientific publications can be found on the publication page.

Beside my research work, my main hobbies are endurance sports, specifically triathlons. A triathlon is a multi-sport event, including the three endurance sports: Swim, Bike, and Run. The holy grail of triathlon is the Ironman, a 2.6 mile swim, followed by a 112 mile bike ride, closed by a full marathon (26.2 miles), consecutively executed in one day. A list of participated triathlons, including the Ironman Germany, and running events can be found here.

Finally, you can find a set of photo albums showing places I've visited in the last years. These places include locations in Europe (Italy and France) as well as North America (East and West Coast of USA, Hawaii, and Eastern Canada).

Wish you a lot of fun exploring my site
